Our Little Family

My name is Arin and I live in Atlanta, GA.  I have been married to my wonderful husband, Dusty for almost 12 years and we have two children.  Anson is almost 4 and Ella is almost 2.   And we just found out that baby #3 is on the way!  I am a full-time, stay-at-home Mom as well as the bookkeeper for our family business.  As you can imagine, I stay pretty busy!  I do not have a lot of “free time” but I still get to do a lot of sewing.  When? Mostly at nap times and in the evening when the kids are in bed.  I started sewing because in this age of “Made in China”, I love to give home-made gifts and make clothes and accessories for my family and friends.  And in this economy, the money savings is a plus!  Since I never have hours and hours of uninterrupted time to sit and sew, I love simple and fast projects that I can start and complete in a weekend or even in an evening!  That is what you will find on my blog… simple, fast, fun, and affordable projects with clear instructions and plenty of pictures.  You’ll also get to know me and my family. My kids are pretty fabulous and inspire some very funny stories!  So enjoy, come back and visit a lot, and most importantly, HAVE FUN!
